Pequea Valley Youth Football Association is a member of the Berks Area Youth Football League governed by PIAA rules.
Flag (5-6 yrs) - Players who turn 7 ON or AFTER July 1st are eligible to play on Flag
PVYFA PRACTICE SCHEDULE
August 2nd - 5th - Heat Acclimation for all tackle football players (Cleats, shorts and T-Shirt)
Beginning August 9th - Practice days will be determined by each teams head coach
Practices will be a maximum of up to 10 hours per week through August
Beginning of September practices will be no more than 3 days per week (6 hours max)
Game Days are Sundays and games will start around 12:30pm as permitted. Starting with the Mighty Mites, followed by the Mites and then the Midgets.
Is PVYFA a traveling organization?
Yes, we will travel for games. Car pools may be available and organized by head coach/team mom.
What does my contact football player need to bring to heat acclimation?
Labeled water bottle, football cleats, shorts, T-Shirt
What does my contact football player need to bring to practice?
Labeled water bottle, football cleats, practice jersey, practice pants with integrated padding, mouth piece
(Some used practice pants and used cleats may be available during equipment hand out)
A physical release form MUST BE PROVIDED before your player can join full contact practice
What does PVYFA provide?
Football Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Game Jersey, Game Pants.... must be returned at seasons end!
What paperwork is needed?
A copy of your players birth certificate
A copy of your players most recent report card
A physical release form filled out by a doctor for your player
Registration Fees explained:
Early Bird Registration:(Starts March 1st and Ends May 31st)
$40 off REGULAR registration fee for all tackle football registrations
FREE registration fee for flag players.
Regular Registration: (Starts June 1st and Ends July 31st)
$160 Tackle Football registration fee
FREE registration fee per Flag Football player.
Late Registration: (Starts August 1st and Ends August 31st)
$40 Late Fee will charged to any Tackle/Flag Football players that sign up during Late Registration!
There will be NO mandatory fee this year. More details to come for what we will do in place of the fee.
A registrant/sibling discount will be available ONLY during Early Bird and Regular Registration. This discount will NOT be available during or Late Registration! A discount will be given to each additional registrant AFTER the 1st registrant, The discount will be $20 off each additional registrant/sibling!
Registration fees must be paid in full to receive your child(rens)'s equipment.
